The Girl of the air
Création 2017 – Indonésie
The Girl of the Air, choreography for 6 dancers and an anthem to women. As a rite of passage, I wish to pay tribute to them by discussing their existences. From life to death, from birth to old age, challenges to extreme joys, adversity to victory, from the little girl to the mother, from the first love to the wife. Poetic images will cross this play just like the architecture of the woman, eternal beauty. Victorious and combative heroine, on the top of this mountain where she overlooks the wilderness of the world, a world that lies before her. May this creation be but the illustration of a quest for love and liberty.
